• Issue: Inappropriate Interactions. AI-generated content (curated “perfect” feeds and deepfake memes) is causing harm. This is “inappropriate content” being delivered to students by AI-driven media.

• Training/Awareness Activities: Provide students and staff with education about healthy social media use and AI’s role. For example, workshops on media literacy can help students critically evaluate AI-curated content and not compare themselves to unrealistic images.

• Risk Level: Medium. The psychological impact (anxiety, depression) is real, but it is a systemic issue rather than an immediate physical danger.
   

• Decision: Mitigate. We would address this risk rather than accept it. By educating the community (safeguard above) and perhaps adjusting social media policies or monitoring, we reduce the negative effects of AI-powered feeds.
